Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber/Plumber Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including construction, installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and schematics, as well as proficiency in using various hand and power tools. The Plumber will work on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring all plumbing systems function efficiently and meet safety standards.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects effectively. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding plumbing needs and solutions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing systems. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Valid plumbing license or certification may be required based on local regulations.

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
