Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled apprentice and /or Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. A successful Plumber will demonstrate mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform plumbing tasks. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Assemble and weld piping systems as required for various installations. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to ensure comprehensive project completion. Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Experience in reading blueprints and schematics is essential. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$45.00 per hour
