Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing various plumbing tasks with precision and efficiency. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using appropriate tools and techniques. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout requirements. Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. Utilize power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively for various tasks. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to ensure comprehensive project completion. Conduct heavy lifting as necessary for transporting materials and equipment. Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately. Familiarity with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards. Ability to read schematics and technical documents related to plumbing systems. Experience with welding techniques is a plus. Must be physically fit to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or kneeling. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally. A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
