Licensed Plumber (NL) - Red Seal PreferredOverview

We are seeking a

licensed and qualified Plumber

to join our team in

Newfoundland & Labrador

.

Candidates must hold a valid plumbing license recognized in NL

and be legally authorized to perform plumbing work in the province.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing and a solid understanding of local codes and safety standards.

Red Seal endorsement is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including

water supply, drainage, fixtures, and appliances

Perform all plumbing work in compliance with

NL building codes, safety regulations, and licensing requirements

Read and interpret

blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Diagnose plumbing issues and complete repairs efficiently and professionally Use plumbing tools, equipment, and materials safely and correctly Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades on site Maintain clean, safe, and compliant work areas at all times Assist with related construction or maintenance tasks when required

Mandatory Qualifications

Valid Plumbing License recognized in Newfoundland & Labrador (required)

Journeyperson Plumber certification

or equivalent provincial qualification

Proven experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and local code requirements Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Physically capable of performing manual work and heavy lifting safely Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

Red Seal Endorsement (RSE)

Experience working on construction or renovation sites Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
