Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing, construction, and related fields. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The Plumber will work closely with other tradespeople on construction sites and must possess a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Perform pipe threading and ensure proper fittings for various plumbing applications. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for installation and repairs. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with construction teams to integrate plumbing systems into building projects. Execute heavy lifting tasks as required during installations or repairs. Provide maintenance person services as needed for additional repairs beyond plumbing. Maintain a clean work environment on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficient in construction plumbing techniques and practices. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues. Experience with welding techniques relevant to pipe installation or repair. Familiarity with HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing functions. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations. Experience in carpentry for integrating plumbing installations within structures. Commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting materials to job sites. Ability to perform assembly tasks related to plumbing fixtures or equipment. Previous construction site experience is highly desirable. Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $28.80-$120.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
