Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Service Plumber to join our team. This role involves performing plumbing service, repair, and installation work in residential homes and occasionally in light commercial settings (e.g., retail, small offices, restaurants).

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems (water lines, drain lines, fixtures, valves, etc.) Perform installations of toilets, sinks, faucets, water heaters, sump pumps, etc. Detect and repair leaks and clogs in piping systems Conduct maintenance and inspection services Work with various piping materials: PEX, copper, PVC, cast iron, etc. Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently Communicate effectively with homeowners and property managers Provide detailed service reports and explain work completed to customers Adhere to plumbing codes and safety standards Handle light commercial jobs including tenant improvements and small plumbing upgrades

Requirements

Licensed plumber (or registered apprentice depending on province) Minimum 2-3 years of experience in service plumbing Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong customer service and communication skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Basic knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations

Work Conditions

On-site work in residential homes and light commercial properties Occasional after-hours or emergency service calls Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and climb ladders when needed
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour
