Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, the ability to read blueprints, and excellent problem-solving skills. The Plumber will work independently as well as part of a team to ensure all plumbing installations meet safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and HVAC technicians when necessary. Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations. Conduct heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

Skills

Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Experience with welding techniques for pipe fittings is a plus. Familiarity with HVAC systems is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Skilled in using hand tools specific to plumbing tasks. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$20.50 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday Night shift On call Weekends as needed
