Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, safety protocols, and the ability to work with various tools and schematics. Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools safely and effectively Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for installation or repair projects Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance Collaborate with team members including carpenters, HVAC technicians, and construction workers to complete projects efficiently Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all phases of work Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related systems as required Maintain a clean work environment and document work performed for project records

Skills

Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Experience with hand tools, power tools, and schematics interpretation Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong understanding of safety protocols related to plumbing, construction sites, and heavy equipment operation Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
