$31.31 to $43.26 based on relevant education and/or level of experience

Position Summary:



IPH is looking for qualified and certified Plumbers to join our family. This posting is for the position of Plumbing Journeyperson with potential to grow and move into higher positions. The location is Kamloops, BC starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities- Journeyperson:



Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and pumps, boiler systems. Perform gas fitting installation and repairs for both residential and commercial applications. Ensure plumbing and gas systems meet all local codes, regulations, and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for project requirements. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to complete projects on time and within budget. Provide leadership and training to 3rd/4th-year apprentices, sharing knowledge of best practices.

Key Responsibilities- Apprentices:



Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing and gas systems under the supervision of a licensed Journeyman Plumber & Gas Fitter. Learn to read blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals to understand project requirements. Observe, learn, and assist in troubleshooting plumbing and gas system issues. Handle tools and equipment safely while ensuring proper maintenance and usage. Complete training and coursework in accordance with the apprenticeship program. Adhere to company safety protocols, local codes, and industry regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:



Journeyman Plumber with a trade certification or an apprentice. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the plumbing industry. Strong knowledge of plumbing, related trades, and safety codes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work in various environments and weather conditions, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
