Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for various plumbing tasks. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Perform heavy lifting as required for installation or removal of plumbing fixtures and equipment. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding plumbing issues and solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience in plumbing or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues. Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, and general construction practices is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Experience with welding techniques is beneficial. Valid commercial driving license may be required for transportation of materials or equipment. Must be able to perform heavy lifting as necessary for the job.
