Role Responsibilities
Install and repair plumbing systems in commercial and residential projects.
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan the layout and installation of plumbing systems.
Install and connect piping, fixtures, and appliances, such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and drainage systems, etc.
Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues to identify the source of problems and provide effective solutions.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on construction and renovation projects to ensure smooth coordination of plumbing work.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and follow best practices to minimize risks and hazards in the workplace.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries, and explaining plumbing issues and repair options clearly.
Manage apprentice on site.
Role Requirements
Journeyman Plumber certificate issued by the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) or have an equivalent certification recognized by the province. Or 4th year apprentice.
Strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
Proficient in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
Ability to work collaboratively with other trades and contractors on construction and renovation projects, promoting a harmonious and productive work environment.
Possession of a valid driver's license to travel to job sites and transport necessary tools and equipment.
