Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will ensure that all work is completed to code and meets safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Collaborate with HVAC technicians when necessary to ensure integrated system functionality. Adhere to local building codes and regulations while performing all plumbing work. Handle heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a plumber with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Valid commercial driving license preferred for transportation of materials and equipment. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing work. Capable of performing heavy lifting as needed in various job situations. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Pay: $40.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
