Location: Calgary, Alberta.

Type: On-site - 135 Lynnview Rd SE, Calgary, AB T2C 1T2

Reporting: This position reports to the Property Manager.

Renumeration: Salary, paid bi-monthly, $37/hour, pro-rated.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm, and/or work hours as needed to meet the demands of the business. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to be on-call and respond to all plumbing-related emergencies. This is an independent contractor role that is permanent and full-time in nature. No benefits will be provided.

Our multi-family site is looking for service plumber and boiler service technician. You should have the ability to work on all aspects of heating & boiler system including installation & service, and troubleshooting no-heat calls. Having your cross-connection certificate is not required, but it is an asset to fulfilling this position.

We seek experience and creativity as our technician is required to efficiently complete their duties with minimal supervision and in a timely manner.

Humble confidence and capability along with good communication/social skills is a must. This is a frontline position. Honesty, consideration and customer service is the primary focus of this job.

We are looking for an individual that can work as a general handyman when not actively engaged with his/her plumbing/hvac/boiler duties.

Mechanical aptitude

Prior boiler experience, boiler install experience is considered an asset

:

Primarily residential plumbing service with light commercial service duties on occasion.

Trouble shoot problems associated with Boiler, Furnace, Hot Water Tanks and similar devices.

Communicate with the Property Manager and/or Ownership Team to explain situations encountered in the service call and proper repair processes.

Expedite these processes with efficiency and ability.

Investigate leaks and make repairs as required.

Repair/replacement of various plumbing fixtures and devices.

Represent the company in a good light.
