Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction plumbing, site work, and mechanical systems, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The Plumber will work on various projects that require heavy lifting, use of hand and power tools, and collaboration with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites or remodeling projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing layouts accurately Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely throughout the job site Assist with remodeling projects by integrating plumbing systems with carpentry and HVAC components Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction plumbing, site work, or related fields Knowledge of construction practices including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems understanding Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding, and schematics reading Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a variety of job sites Familiarity with HVAC systems, remodeling processes, carpentry basics, and maintenance person skills is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations Valid driver's license for commercial driving or site access is preferred Prior experience working on construction sites or in remodeling environments highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 70 per week
