Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in plumbing and related trades. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers, assisting with various plumbing tasks and gaining hands-on experience in the field. This role requires a willingness to learn and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Duties

Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Support carpentry and construction activities as needed during plumbing installations. Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations. Participate in welding tasks when required for specific plumbing projects. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure proper functionality. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on job sites.

Qualifications

Basic mechanical knowledge with an understanding of plumbing principles preferred. Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, and general construction practices is a plus. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to plumbing work. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately. Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Willingness to learn new skills related to assembly, maintenance, and welding as necessary. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team environment.
