Job Description

Dalcro Mechanical Contracting Ltd. is looking to add a strong member to our team. We are seeking a licensed plumber or 4th year apprentice that is experienced in all aspects of commercial plumbing, high end custom homes, as well as commercial and residential service. This individual should be well versed in all aspects of rough ins. Having Certification in Cross-Connection and Backflow Preventer testing is a definite asset.

We offer competitive rates according to experience. We also offer full time and over time hours as we are always busy due to our large network of customers we have built up over the many years in the industry.

Areas of Strength Required

Basic math skills required to determine drain slopes and measurements Understanding of plumbing vents, although guidance will be provided as needed Ability to perform plumbing rough in and finishing work in a timely manner according to industry standard Willing to learn from peers Ability to cooperate with others to perform tasks and as well as work alone Overall willingness to achieve a high quality product, efficiently and cooperate well with others Flexible hours - weekends and evenings when required
Required Assets:

Plumbing Journeyman license or 4th year apprentice Basic plumbing hand tools at minimum Strong knowledge in plumbing rough-in with various materials; ABS, PVC, Cast Iron, Copper, PEX, Etc. Strong knowledge of fixture installations. Knowledge of high end plumbing fixtures is an asset Ability to get to the job site or to company shop in the mornings by required time Drivers license is strong asset Certifications: Working at Heights, Confined Space, WHMIS, Cross-Connection Control and Four Steps is an asset D licence would also be an asset to work within our Hydro Vac division
