PLC Support Engineer
Pharmaceutical Vaccine Manufacturing Plant
North York, ON

PLC Support Engineer would be responsible to program different control system platforms including but not limited to Allen Bradley, Omron and Beckhoff. Initial contract would be for 6 months with high possibility of extension.

As a successful candidate you will:

\xc2\xb7 Be responsible for designing, installation and commissioning of control system platform which includes PLC, HMI, Robotics, Vision inspection system and Allen Bradley SCADA system
\xc2\xb7 Complete controls design and electrical schematics
\xc2\xb7 Develop PLC and HMI program using Allen Bradley Studio 5000 and Factory Talk View
\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement the communication and I/O interfacing between devices and system
\xc2\xb7 Must be able to troubleshoot different Vision inspection and Robotic system (KUKA and Fanuc).

\xc2\xb7 Sounds knowledge and understanding of Audit trail and 21 CFR Part 11
\xc2\xb7 Witness and verify software FAT at vendor site in US and Europe
\xc2\xb7 Prepare and execute system verification transcript protocol for IOQ verification
\xc2\xb7 Very good knowledge and understanding of IT network including but not limited to VLAN, active directory and time synchronization.
\xc2\xb7 Support project throughout detailed design, commissioning, and qualification activities.

You bring to the role:
\xc2\xb7 Sounds knowledge and understanding of multiple control system platforms like Allen Bradley, Omron, Beckhoff, B&R PLC\'s and different Vision verification system.
\xc2\xb7 5 to 8 years of experience in Allen Bradley control system, Robotics and Vision Inspection System.
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of industrial communication protocol like Ethernet/IP, OPCUA, Ethernet/TCP/IP and conventional signals (4/20 mA)
\xc2\xb7 Sound knowledge and experience of working in pharmaceutical environment, S88 structure and 21 CFR Part 11
\xc2\xb7 Very good knowledge and understanding of using Rockwell Asset Center
\xc2\xb7 Very good knowledge and understanding of different motion controllers and Robotics like Kuka, Omron, and Fanuc

Deliverable:
\xc2\xb7 Program PLC, HMI and SCADA system using Studio5000 and FTView ME/SE (but not limited to Allen Bradley Platform)
\xc2\xb7 Program motion control servos, robotics, and vision verification system
\xc2\xb7 Develop software testing strategy including FAT, SAT, IOQ protocol and execution
\xc2\xb7 Lead FAT execution at vendor site for Filling, Packaging, and Inspection system.
