PLC Programming Specialist - Sarnia Position Features:
$45-$ 70/hr

Duties:
Participate in project proposals, cost estimation, both for materials and engineering hours
Develop FEED reports for instrumentation and automation upgrade projects including TIC estimates
Design and specification of all components of the control system (SIS, PLC, Machine Protection, etc.) based on industry and customer standards.
Development of procedures and execution of all related testing and commissioning responsibilities (FAT, SAT, etc.)
Establish control philosophies and network architecture
Develop PLC/SIS applications and graphics
Interface effectively within both Paton and customer project teams
Assets:
Knowledge of control systems and field instrumentation in an industrial environment Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
Experience working with control system design, testing, commissioning, and main
Hands on experience with the configuration and programming of PLC system (ControlLogix, PlantPAx, Modicon, etc.)
Hands-on experience with the configuration and programming of Safety Instrumented Systems (Triconex, Hima, Honeywell Safety Manager, etc.)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Bachelor\'s degree in engineering (Electrical or Computer) or equivalent 5+ years of
experience in a related role
TUV FSEng Certification would be considered an asset
