The St. Paul Friends of Playschool Society is looking for a Playschool Instructor to fill a temporary part-time contract position from September 2025 to June 2026. The playschool classroom is in the St. Paul Regional Highschool on the north side (4313 48th Ave.).
This position requires a compassionate, energetic, and reliable individual to work alongside our playschool assistant and playschool students that are aged three to five years.
Playschool Instructor Specific Skills:
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
Caring and nurturing personality.
Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding the abilities, interests, and needs of children.
Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with the playschool assistant.
Qualifications
Applicant must have a Level 2 - Early Child Care Certificate or Equivalent
First Aid Certification
Current Criminal Record Check Required
Previous experience working with young children in a school setting would be an asset.
