are seeking a passionate and skilledPlay-by-Play Broadcaster
to join our team for the upcoming season.We are open to applicants interested in handling:
Home Games
Road Games
Or Both
This is a
contract position
for the duration of the season, including all54 regular season games
, with the potential forexhibition and playoff coverage
as well.Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and professional play-by-play commentary for Pontiacs games (home, away, or both) Manage all gameday broadcasting duties Assist with real-time
social media updates
during games Travel with the team to all 27road games
across Alberta (meals and accommodations provided)Qualifications:
Experience in
sports broadcasting
or a relevantpost-secondary education
in broadcasting/media Strong knowledge and passion forhockey
Excellent verbal communication and storytelling skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required Proficiency with broadcasting equipment and streaming platforms is an asset Social media savvy, especially during live eventsHow to Apply:
