As Canada's most reliable airline, we're all about offering real value. As we continue to expand our network, increase flight frequencies, and introduce more services, we're looking for passionate team members to help us in our mission to make air travel accessible for everyone. We know who we are, and we're confident in our approach - but we don't take ourselves too seriously.

Your Team:

Join the IT Digital team at Flair as a Platform Operations Analyst, a systems thinker with a passion for operational reliability and technical problem-solving, owning the ongoing operation, delivery, and refinement of one of Flair's core systems in a fast-paced, office-based environment. The Platform Operations Analyst will work in a fast-paced, ever-changing professional and operational environment while maintaining corporate policies and providing excellent support to the business. Travel to other locations in support of projects and training requirements will be necessary. Reporting to the Manager, Operations Platforms, you will play a key role in managing platform health, coordinating releases, troubleshooting issues, and analyzing data to drive operational improvements. You will collaborate closely with airport operations, airport IT, commercial teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless performance and reliability. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong problem solver, and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional setting. You bring experience with system integrations, operational support, and technical documentation, with a passion for driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

This position is based on-site at any of our offices in Edmonton, AB (YEG), Calgary, AB (YYC), or Vancouver, BC (YVR).

A Day in the Life:

As a Platform Operations Analyst, you will:

Own the day-to-day operations of a mission-critical operational platform, including backlog grooming, incident management, and release coordination. Monitor and maintain system health, uptime, and performance using data dashboards and alerts. Analyze system usage and failure trends to identify inefficiencies and drive measurable operational improvements. Lead root cause investigations and coordinate resolution of system-related issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams (operations, IT, commercial) regarding platform performance, enhancements, and delivery timelines. Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including workflows, process maps, and integration diagrams. Validate and test software releases, bug fixes, and data changes prior to production deployment. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process automation and optimization. Ensure system changes meet regulatory, operational, and security requirements. Support the development and tracking of platform KPIs to inform business decisions and operational performance.

What You Bring to the Role:

The preferred candidate should exemplify Flair's core values of honesty, efficiency, accountability, and respect, while demonstrating success in previous roles. Additionally, we are seeking individuals who possess:

Education:

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related technical or operational field is required.
+ Relevant professional certifications such as CBAP, ITIL, or equivalent are strongly preferred and will be considered a significant asset.
+ Equivalent experience will be considered only for candidates with extensive, demonstrable hands-on experience in platform operations or systems management within mission-critical environments.

Experience:

+ Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing or supporting critical systems or platforms in an operational or enterprise environment.
+ Proven experience coordinating product or system releases, incident triage, and issue resolution in a fast-paced setting.
+ Direct experience working with or supporting cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.
+ Minimum 1-2 years working with complex datasets, identifying trends, and translating findings into actionable insights.
+ Minimum 1-2 years working in or alongside Agile software development teams.
+ Minimum 1 year of direct experience working with external vendors to support, deliver, or troubleshoot technical systems or platforms.
+ Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining technical system documentation, including workflows, troubleshooting guides, and integration specifications.
+ Experience with systems integration, API workflows, and troubleshooting third-party platform issues.
+ Experience in an aviation environment is an asset.

Skills and Abilities:

+ Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand and map interconnected workflows and dependencies.
+ High proficiency in analyzing data to drive operational decisions and monitor system performance.
+ Comfortable diving into system logs, user reports, and data to perform root cause analysis.
+ Effective communicator with the ability to proactively share updates and set expectations with internal stakeholders.
+ Familiarity with platform monitoring tools, ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ConnectWise), and documentation tools used to create and maintain system workflows and guides.
+ Skilled in defining, tracking, and refining KPIs that reflect platform health and operational effectiveness.
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
+ Working knowledge of APIs, system architecture, and data validation best practices.
+ Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they impact operations.
+ Able to work independently and take ownership of platform performance and improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

+ Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references.
