Job Summary

Performs specific mounting duties and assists in other areas of the Printing department on an as-needed basis in order to ensure that all Alpha Poly Corporation printed products meet customer, organizational and legislative specifications and are delivered in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate printing equipment (e.g., Harley 2 Camera Mounter, JM Heaford Mounter) to assist in the printing process for poly products. Retrieve and return plates according to job orders, coordinating with suppliers/customers to ensure timely completion. Inspect plates for defects, determine if remaking or reusing is necessary. Prepare and mount plates using customer specifications and mounting machines. Assist with staging/removing sleeves, support press operators, and demount plates when jobs are complete. Perform regular maintenance on equipment, report major repairs, and maintain a clean work area. Follow Quality and Health & Safety policies, report issues to the Production Supervisor, and perform other housekeeping duties.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma required. 3+ years of experience in a related role. Experience with Harley 2 Camera Mounter/JM Heaford Mounter and basic equipment maintenance. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions. Basic mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
