Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plastic Manufacturer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will produce high-quality plastic products while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in manufacturing processes, particularly in plastic production. The ideal candidate must be physically fit and able to stand for periods of 4-hours at a time up to 10 hours per shift. We work a 4-day, 10-hour weekly shift with options for overtime and weekend work.

Duties

Operate various manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, to produce plastic components. Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to lean manufacturing principles. Assist in the setup and operation of machinery, including forklifts for material handling. Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and reduce waste. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, particularly in plastic manufacturing or machining. Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools such as calipers is beneficial. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery is advantageous.
