KIT Recruitment is proud to continue our successful partnership with a leading client in the agriculture and farming industry, currently hiring a Plant Operator in North Battleford, Saskatchewan.
The Plant Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery used in the cleaning, handling, and processing of pulses and other grain products. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment, monitoring grain quality, and ensuring smooth loading and unloading of materials.
Plant Operator - Key Details
Monday thru Friday (with the ability to work 2 shifts (7:00-3:30 or 3:00-11:30).

Plant Operator - Responsibilities
You will operate grain elevators, conveyors, dryers, and milling equipment
You will adjust grain flow through different processing stages
Receiving incoming raw grain shipments and ensuring accurate documentation
Loading processed grain onto trucks or railcars as per specifications
Unloading raw grain from trucks or railcars and storing it in appropriate bins
Inspecting grains for quality, cleanliness, and contaminants
Maintaining grain inventory, processing, and maintenance records
Completing required production reports and logs
Plant Operator - Qualifications
Proven experience operating cleaning machinery in a grain facility or terminal
Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in the agricultural industry
Technical aptitude in grain handling equipment, machinery, and technology for record-keeping and reporting
Certification in grain handling or cleaning is an asset
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and has experience in grain handling and processing.
