The

Plant Manager

leads and oversees all operations at a composite & elevated tank manufacturing facility. This role will manage production staff and schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards to meet both customer requirements and company goals.

Essential Functions:

Plan, organize, and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production targets and on?time deliveries Develop and manage departmental budgets, cost controls, and production metrics Oversee safety, compliance (MOL, MOE), and environmental policies. Demonstrate safety excellence by leadership and build / foster safety focused culture Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma principles Supervise department leads within fabrication, welding, QA/QC, and maintenance ensuring all staffing and training needs are met Analyze performance data to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements Manage capital equipment needs, maintenance planning, and inventory control

Education

Bachelor's in Engineering, Operations Management or related

Required Qualifications

7-10+ years in manufacturing leadership, ideally composites or heavy fabrication Strong grasp of fabrication methods, safety regulations, ERP systems, Lean methodologies Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Proficient grasp of concepts related to construction execution Effective written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher Proficient organization skills and attention to detail
