Based at our Vancouver Plant by Powell Street and Commercial Drive, we are hiring for a full-time Plant Labourer (Truck Washer). As our Vancouver Plant runs 24/7, Truck Washers are assigned rotational shifts ranging from 7am to 3:30am, 3pm to 11:30pm or 11pm to 7:30am. This is a full-time, permanent position. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wash company vehicles, trailers, containers and mobile equipment
• Maintain the high pressure washing system, sump pumps, soap hoses and the soap sprayer system
• Follow washing checklists and complete daily washing sheets
• Help with organization and cleanliness of general plant sites and yard areas
• Unload fleet vehicles containing raw materials and/or finished products
• Inspect and report any deficiencies regarding company equipment

WE\'RE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO:

• Are committed to working a variety of shifts (our plant operates 24/7!)
• Learns quickly and adapts to an industrial plant environment
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety standards and operating procedures
• Able to frequently move, carry, lift, push and pull equipment up to 50lbs without assistance and occasionally greater with assistance
• Adept at taking accurate measurements, handling of analytical, sampling and measurement equipment
• Adaptable to adverse conditions including odours, confined spaces, heights, cold weather and exposure to raw materials or by-products
• Possession of a valid driver\'s license a strong asset.
