Envirogreen Technologies Letd ( ETL) is looking for a motivated Plant Journeyman Millwright with proven experience to join our team. The Plant Journeyman Millwright works under the direction of the designated Supervisor and works with other employees within the company to ensure safe work practices and policies, compliances and regulations are adhered. The Plant Journeyman Millwright will perform and document the installation, assembly, repair, dismantling and preventative maintenance on our stationary industrial machinery in accordance with regulations, codes, permits, approved drawings and specifications. This position also requires the Plant Journeyman Millwright to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, chemical injection system, conveyor system, or pneumatic system issues with associated machinery and equipment. Other responsibilities involve physical labour at the Work Site.The Plant Journeyman Millwright will work closely with facility staff to create a positive and safe working environment, be a resource to management and facility staff for health and safety information and promote health and safety programs in the workplace.

Requirements



Millwright Red Seal designation. High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 10 years Millwright experience. Basic understanding of office computer software and systems. Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals and specifications Valid Class 5 driver's licence and access to reliable transportation. A positive attitude and a desire to collaborate towards improving systems and processes. Strong attention to detail. Expert knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and power transmission systems. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities. Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Core Job Duties



Install, commission, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and systems. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and specifications to support accurate installation and repairs. Perform welding, cutting, pipefitting, and general fabrication as needed. Maintain workshop, storage facilities and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe manner Maintain an accurate equipment service, maintenance, and repair record Ensure all work performed adheres to all relevant organizational, provincial, and federal safety regulations, codes and specifications Responsible for tool inventory and maintenance Liaise with suppliers and outside contractors for major repairs or upgrades Assist in design and upgrades of new or replacement equipment Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with co-workers and customers Maintain accurate maintenance records, complete work orders, and provide feedback on recurring issues to improve equipment reliability. Perform mechanical, electrical and all other energy-source disconnects when required for lock out or facility repair Participate in facility upgrade planning Follow all company safety policies, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements; proactively identify hazards and improve workplace safety. Collaborate with electricians, operators, and other trades to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance Mentor junior millwrights or apprentices in best practices. Diagnose and resolve critical equipment failures quickly and permanently using advanced troubleshooting techniques. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for major repairs or equipment upgrades. Communicate professionally with co-workers and contractors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
