The Plant Controller as part of the Production Team will be responsible for:

  • Prepare and analyze the company\'s key performance indicators with a specific focus on operational activities.
  • Present the monthly KPI\'s to the company\'s management team.
  • Analyze monthly manufacturing and purchasing performance via the calculation of variances vs. budget and forecast.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Prepare capital expenditure requests evaluating economic return (IRR, NPV). Track actual capital expenditures vs. plan.
  • Preparation of the annual operational budget.
  • Ensure product cost control and raw material stock control.
  • Support physical inventory count and obsolescence reserve analysis.
  • Support with various internal and external audits as required.
  • Work with operations to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control current processes.
  • Providing support to Supply Chain, Operations & Commercial department on decision making: make or buy, cost analysis on alternatives, etc.
  • Perform special project assignments as requested.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business or finance.
  • 3+ years working experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of Standard Cost Accounting.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint in particular).
