Plant Controller
Job Description
Our client, located in North York, is seeking a Controller/Plant Controller for 3-month contract opportunity (permanent possibility). The Controller/Plant Controller will be responsible for all aspects of the accounting procedures including preparing financial reports for 3 entities, budgeting, and projection modeling as well as cost accounting. Report and monitor gross margins are maintained and issues variance reports. Ensures adequate cash flow to operate the business and monitors plant budgets. The main priorities for this interim assignment are as it follows: Financial reporting; cost accounting, inventory valuation and management; internal controls and adherence to SOX; Managing cash flow. The successful Controller / Plant Controller will have solid manufacturing experience, hands-on approach and can-do attitude.
