As a Planning & Scheduling Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Planners and Schedulers in achieving project execution plans for complex day-to-day maintenance activities at our refinery in Saint John, New Brunswick. Your Responsibilities:
Develop and lead all planning and scheduling activities through the execution phase to ensure a high degree of readiness.
Lead, train, support, and coach direct reports and hold individuals accountable to achieving performance and developmental goals.
Communicate progress updates and coordinate plans with team leads, management, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment to and achievement of milestones.
Develop and implement effective work practices and procedures that optimize resources and cost while meeting the requirements of the execution plan.
Maintain accuracy of planning tool inputs and quality of data in plans by performing audits to identify and correct plans based on findings.
Participate in continuous improvement activities to identify opportunities and implement changes to improve the planning and scheduling process.
Your Skills:
Ability to lead and develop team members in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to prioritize and work with deadlines, constant changes and some interruptions.
Strong communication skills and attention to details.
Valid Canadian Driver\'s license required.

Your Experience:
Post-secondary education in Engineering Technology, trades or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience working in an industrial environment.
Minimum 5 years experience in construction or maintenance supervision activities within oil and gas industry.
Experience planning and Scheduling in Primavera P6
Proficiency with all MS Office applications, high level of proficiency with MS Excel
