Job Description

Apex Precision Inc. is a manufacturer of complex, precision parts and assemblies for the aerospace, defense and medical industry. We aim to provide excellent customer service and exceptional quality. The Planner & Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the voice of the customer at Apex Precision Inc. They act as a liaison between the departments of sales, finance, production, procurement, and quality.


Responsibilities




Answer and follow-up on customer requests and inquiries. Including updates on order and delivery status. Enter customer purchase orders into the ERP system (JobBoss). Plan production and delivery dates by coordinating with internal departments to meet customer deadlines. Make purchasing requests for material, hardware, and third-party services based on orders and forecasts. Review and track customer forecasts and adjust production requests accordingly. Coordinate material, tooling, fixtures, programming, and equipment status and update the detailed production plan daily. Develop, manage, and track KPI dashboards. Identify and take ownership of continuous improvement projects. Other related tasks or projects.

Qualifications




Must have 3 to 5 years minimum of experience in customer service and manufacturing planning. 2 to 4 years of experience in machining or CNC programming is an asset. Must be bilingual; French and English both written and spoken. English is required to support customers and contacts outside of Quebec and Canada. Strong ability to manage customer relationships and resolve concerns with empathy, urgency, and a solution-focused mindset. Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences. Good computer skills (Office suite mainly Excel and Access, ERP). Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to interpret production data and support continuous improvement.
