WORK ILLUSTRATION:
Reporting to Manager, Business Solutions, the Planning Analyst provides support related to financial forecasting, reporting of IT projects, and the effective administration of the procurement process. Ensures compliance and collaborates with IT initiatives. To enhance, develop, and enforces internal management control procedures for business planning, reporting, and budgetary support.
The incumbent is expected to behave ethically and follow the established code of business conduct, policies and internal control procedures, laws and regulations governing Toronto Hydro.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the processing of payment for IT purchases, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate payment of invoices for the IT division.
Timely processes invoices and purchase requisitions enabling the purchases of all goods and services within IT (including wireless invoice for payment and chargeback) in support of ongoing operations across the organization.
Supports delivery of departmental & divisional metrics/KPIs. Performs IT Operational Status Review and IT Executive Operation Reports
Manages the end to end administration of IT Contractors and performs IT Contractors timesheets closing, reconciliation and invoicing
Performs reporting, analytics and budgetary support, receipting and procurement activities for various IT portfolios
Assists with the processing of required financial and procurement governance related documentation and reporting
Enhances and/or develops and enforces internal management control policies, guidelines, procedures and systems.
Maintains awareness of and supports divisional adherence to all Toronto Hydro financial and procurement governance processes and procedures applicable to the position
Supports the development of IT procurement contracts with internal stakeholders and supports the timely signoff and execution of agreements through liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Performs administrative routines associated with the position
REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate degree (Business Administration or Finance preferred)
Two (2) to Three (3) years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in financial and statistical analysis
Experience in business process redesign, identification of areas for improvement and development of new initiatives.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and SAP Business Objects proficiency is required

Toronto Hydro has introduced a Hybrid Work Arrangement. This position allows for remote work up to three days per week, based on business needs. Employees will be required to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person. You are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
