We are looking for a Dewatering/ MRC Planner/Scheduler at our Labrador City operations ensure the Mine Operations team has sufficient guidance to operate and maintain its dewatering infrastructure, coordinate projects that support the short-range mine plan, and ensure environmental compliance.
This role is an excellent opportunity to be responsible for the efficient design, scheduling, and coordination of dewatering tasks to meet mine planning objectives.
Reporting to the Superintendent, Asset Management Mine and working in a collaborative community within the Mine Technical Services, key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring health, safety, and environment needs are given a top priority in work planning
Ensure critical risks are identified in the planning process with appropriate controls accounted for so the work can be performed safely and effectively
Mine design work, including dewatering easements, Mobile rock crusher maintenance planning and contribution to the mine design standards.
Managing inventories of critical components and rotables
Preparing weekly communications for dewatering works and Mobile rock crusher to support 2-week, 90-day mine, and budgetary mine plans
Coordination of Mobile Rock Crusher and dewatering projects with stakeholders, including short and long range mine planning, environment, dewatering, and mine operations
Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll bring
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
At least 1 year of experience in an industrial environment and knowledge of open pit mining techniques
Familiarity or experience with mine (open pit) survey techniques
Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite

It will also be advantageous if you have:
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline
Basic understanding of hydrology, hydrogeology, and/or dewatering theory
Experience with dewatering equipment
Experience with 3D mine design software, such as Vulcan
Project management experience
Supervisory experience
Knowledge of SAP
