YOUR ROLE

The Planner is responsible for supporting the growth of Aldo stores through sales planning and inventory management. This role will help manage the in-season and future planning of sales, markdown, and profit/contribution, with an additional focus on inventory management and assortment strategy, aligned with the financial target. Reports to the Planning Manager. - Generate and analyze statistical data on area of responsibility\xe2\x80\xa2 Build and maintain seasonal merchandise budgets \xe2\x80\xa2 Build and maintain seasonal assortment plans\xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor the purchases against receipt plan\xe2\x80\xa2 Participate in the regional in-season management, and provide sales and markdowns forecasts and its impact on inventory levels \xe2\x80\xa2 Update weekly and monthly reports\xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and forecast the open-to-buy with interaction with the buying team\xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare ad-hoc reports to support strategic business decisions

- Bachelor\'s Degree required\xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of 3 years retail planning (with an emphasis on either inventory management, buying or allocation)\xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent retail math and analytical skills\xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to partner effectively across organizational boundaries; highly collaborative\xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent Excel skills, ability to use Excel to analyze large volume of data\xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent prioritization, process optimization and problem-solving capabilities; highly curious\xe2\x80\xa2 Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and disciplined to check work\xe2\x80\xa2 Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multitask\xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in Arthur, Decision, Aptos and SAP, an asset

Job Requirements:
