PLAN 495.3 Term 1The Department of Geography and Planning, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the 2024-2025 Regular session:Course Number, Section, and Name: PLAN 495.3 (01) Professional Planning Practice
Term and Course Dates: Fall Session (September to December 2024)

Delivery Mode: Lecture (in-person), University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon campus.
Course Schedule: Tuesdays 6:00-9:50pmExpected Enrollment Limit: 30
Qualifications: Preference given to an individual with a proven record of effective teaching and mentoring of undergraduate students. The candidate for this position will be a practicing planner and member of the Saskatchewan Professional Planners Institute. This position requires the candidate to hold extensive professional experience in the planning profession including, but not limited to, municipal and private planning practice with knowledge of land use zoning, development control, subdivision of land, conflict resolution, ethics in planning, and professional practice in the field of planning. Experience with land developers, elected officials and public engagement processes in land development is required in this teaching position. The candidate should hold a masters degree or equivalent in planning or a related field.A valid driver\'s license is required for off campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.Application Process:
