Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in artisan style pizza (hand made ) and the food industry, particularly in meal preparation and food handling, and will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and taste. This role requires a strong commitment to food safety and excellent culinary skills, ensuring that every pizza is prepared with care and precision.

Must have experience in wood-oven or stone oven experience

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, maintaining high standards of food safety. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently. Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.

Skills

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within the food service or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Strong attention to detail, ensuring every dish meets presentation standards.

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
