We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and an understanding of the culinary arts, particularly in pizza preparation. This role involves creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and presentation, ensuring customer satisfaction with every order.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment. Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen operations. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Follow all food handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Basic knowledge of meal preparation and cooking techniques specific to pizza making. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.75-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
