Job Description

We are looking for someone to join our pizza crew on a full or part time basis working four days a week Thursday through Sunday. We make the only sourdough pizza in the city and are looking for an passionate and motivated individual to join our team. We are willing to teach those without experience however pizza making experience is a huge asset. Currently the work week runs from Wednesday to Sunday with an average of 8 hours per shift. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers
- Ensure food is cooked and stored at proper temperatures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service

Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and food service procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices

Skills:
- Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of pizzas
- Knowledge of different pizza doughs, sauces, and toppings
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with other kitchen staff members

The role of a Pizza Cook requires experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. By following recipes and adhering to food safety guidelines, the Pizza Cook will contribute to providing high-quality pizzas for our customers.
