Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to food safety and quality are paramount. The Pizza Cook will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional meal presentation and timely service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping ingredients, assembling toppings, and portioning dough Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality dishes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Serve customers at the counter or via takeout/delivery orders with professionalism and friendliness Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met Support the team during busy hours by assisting with meal preparation and food service as needed Adhere to restaurant policies regarding food safety, sanitation, and safety protocols

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Strong understanding of serving, meal preparation, and food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork Experience with the food industry or restaurant experience is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to kitchen work
