Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, baking, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and providing a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and knives Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Package finished products for delivery or takeout orders with attention to presentation Assist with inventory management by stocking ingredients and supplies as required Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting preferred Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques Skills in pizza baking, cooking and food preparation Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food industry standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment is a plus
