We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation and food handling, with a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards for quality and taste, while ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines. Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of food served. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably with pizza preparation. Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations within the food industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.
