Responsibilities

Prepare and cook pizza and pastas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food handling and preparation meets safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan prep, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficiency in meal preparation techniques and cooking methods. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Experience in the food industry, particularly within restaurant settings. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
