Salvatore's has been specializing in New York-Italian pizzas and hero sandwiches for over thirty years from our North-end restaurant located in the Hydrostone Market. We are a hard-working team, dedicated to preparing and serving scratch-made food to order. We like what we do, and we work hard to ensure every person who walks through our doors leaves better off whence they came!
We are looking for a pizza maker/prep cook to join our team. Must be reliable; capable of heavy lifting (35-40kg); able to work independently, as well as within a team.
Main tasks include:
- prepping food
- setting up & breaking down work stations
- working the line
- running food out to dine-in customers
- general cleaning & dishwashing
Commercial kitchen experience is preferred, as is some customer service experience since we operate an open kitchen. However, we'll also provide extra training to those who are entering the cooking industry and eager to learn new skills.
This is a full-time position.
