Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. As a Pizza Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering delicious meals to our customers while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure the quality of ingredients used in pizza preparation, including dough, sauces, toppings, and cheeses. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist with meal preparation for other menu items as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Help train new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques and food safety practices.

Skills

Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably within the restaurant or food industry. Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations. Ability to prepare high-quality meals consistently while working under pressure. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools. A team player with strong communication skills who can work collaboratively in a busy kitchen setting. Passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that satisfy customers' tastes.

Pay: $17.85-$25.83 per hour
