Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as well as operate a forklift when necessary.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and inventory counts. Assist in warehouse operations, including organizing and storing products efficiently. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Skills

Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes. Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not required; training may be provided. Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction during deliveries.
