Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring efficient food preparation and handling. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring a positive dining experience. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining high quality and presentation. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing transactions efficiently. Handle cash transactions with accuracy and adhere to cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Monitor food safety practices during food preparation and service to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communication regarding orders. Manage time effectively during busy periods to meet customer demands without compromising quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is beneficial. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is a plus.
