Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious pizzas. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality pizzas that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen. You will also assist with other forms of food preparation as needed.

Duties

Prepare and cook pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards. Prepare other offerings as needed. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and cutters safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices. Monitor food inventory levels to ensure freshness and availablilty. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals, particularly pizzas. Familiarity with the food industry standards related to meal preparation is a plus.
