We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering high-quality pizzas and exceptional service. This role requires a commitment to food safety standards and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any special requests or concerns from patrons.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in a pizza or Italian cuisine setting. A passion for serving delicious food and creating memorable dining experiences for customers.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
