Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications Handle food ingredients safely, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards Manage food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients with precision using proper knife skills Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively for service Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces Serve pizzas efficiently while providing excellent customer service when interacting with dine-in or takeout guests Follow all food industry regulations related to food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Skills

Culinary experience with a focus on pizza preparation is desirable Skilled in food preparation techniques including cooking methods specific to pizza making Excellent food safety practices and adherence to hygiene standards in a commercial kitchen setting Experience in restaurant or food industry environments with a focus on kitchen operations and food service excellence Proficient knife skills for slicing toppings and ingredients efficiently and safely Ability to prepare meals quickly without sacrificing quality or presentation during peak hours

Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour
