Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas while ensuring food safety and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Monitor food quality and ensure that all pizzas are cooked to perfection
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing toppings, preparing dough, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing work surfaces
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepanciesQualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food service establishment is preferred
- Knowledge of pizza making techniques, including dough stretching, sauce spreading, and topping distribution
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
